Kasabian new Beady Eye bassist

LONDON - Jeff Wootton from Gorillaz was not an official member of Beady Eye, he was touring with them, now left to pursue other projects.
Here's another new reason of jealousy for the Noel Gallagher, who, like Liam, loves Kasabian.
Jason "Jay" Mehler, from Philadelphia, Usa, joined Kasabian in 2010 after touring with them since 2006.
During the recording of Kasabian's second album, Empire, Christopher Karloff, one of the band's chief songwriters, had "artistic and creative differences" and was asked to leave the band, according to the band's website, although there is evidence to suggest that Karloff left due to personal circumstances. Jay Mehler was his replacement.
He was now a permanent touring member of Kasabian, although he is not involved with most of the promotional work that the band does. He is credited on Empire and also features on the video for the song Empire.
Since 2006 he's been dating the Beatles' Ringo Starr's daughter Lee Starkey (sister of Oasis' ex drummer Zak), and in June 2009 they announced they were expecting triplets.

Sergio Pizzorno speaks on Jay's move:
"Jay is our bro we're all good and the last six years have been mega. He's moving on and will be incredible in Beady Eye. We thought posting an awesome video was the best way to let you guys know that he will be missed. Sergio x"
